Jennifer Phillips, Ph.D., is a Group Medical Director at Janssen Oncology focused on prostate cancer. She has been at Janssen for the past eight years in Medical Affairs supporting genitourinary cancers. Previously, she was a Director at GSK Research and Development in Hematology Oncology. She has 20 years of drug development experience (Phase I to IV, across therapeutic areas). She chose to work in oncology after her sister passed away from cancer. She was a leader on a number of teams that brought drugs to patients including Promacta, Arzerra, Zytiga, Balversa, and Erleada. She received her Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania and her undergraduate degree in biology from Bryn Mawr College. She has a heart for the patient voice and bringing programs to patients.
