LTC (Retired) Rodney Palmer is a 21-year United States Army veteran. He retired in 2009.

He was commissioned as an Army Officer into the Army Quartermaster (Logistics) Corps after completing the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program at Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia in 1988.

He served in several key military leadership and key staff assignments from company-level to the Headquarters, Department of the Army Staff- level Staff, to include company commander, battalion staff officer, battalion commander, battalion and brigade executive officer, division logistical plans officer and Pentagon staff officer.

 

LTC (Retired) Rodney Palmer is currently serving as a Department of Defense Civilian employee, as a Contingency Plans Officer, Fort Lee, VA.

His professional educational includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Norfolk State University and a Masters Degree in General Administration from Central Michigan University.

He is an active member of First Baptist Church South Richmond, VA. He is a deacon and serves in various ministry roles (Men’s Ministry Planning Committee, Logistics Support, and Mentor).

He is married to Diveda Ann Palmer (33 years). The Palmers have two daughters: Maya (27) and Jade (25).
